HDB 1.0.1 was released on 26 May 2006. This release includes source and binary RPM packages.

HDB is released under the LGPL Licence. For installation instructions see INSTALL.

Source Release

Installing should be a matter of ./configure && make && sudo make install
hdb-1.0.1.tar.gz

Binary Releases

The binary releases comes in two flavours, hdb and hdb-lite. The main difference is that HDB uses a central daemon that is accesible of over network and hdb-lite is file based.
hdb-lite is intended for single user usages or for embedded systems.
The binary releases are built for RedHat Enterprise Linux 4.
